- Skimmer basket(s): emptied; basket monitored for condition to prevent debris from possibly impacting motor impeller
- Pump basket: emptied and monitored for condition, and pump priming checked
- Pool Cleaner Leaf bags: emptied and monitored for holes, etc.

- Water Chemistry: maintained and managed
- Skimmer basket(s), Pump baskets and Pool Cleaner Leaf bags and cannisters: emptied and monitored for condition, and pump priming checked.
- Steps, swimouts and spa brushed: to get any algae off and in the water to be chemically treated and filtered
- Skim surface: net leaves, pollen, etc..
- Remove bottom debris: gthat pool cleaners are unlikely to get.
